The Young Investigator Award is presented to a physician who has completed pediatric infectious diseases fellowship training seven years or less from the award date and whose independent and productive research during and after fellowship represents outstanding contributions in pediatric infectious diseases.
*Eligibility Note: Considerations to the ‘7 years or less from award date’ timeline can be made for individuals who have taken an extended absence for health or family demands. Please include a brief statement regarding the duration of the absence and nature of the commitment as part of the nomination packet.
Nominations are accepted from current PIDS members. The application deadline is Monday, April 15, 2024.
